Works With Your Existing Desk

The TR1200-DT3 is designed to work with most standing desks. Simply place the console in a convenient location on your desk and plug the opposite end into the front of the treadmill and its ready to go. The TR1200-DT3 gives you the flexibility to choose the desk you want or use a stand up desk you already own and turn your Standing Desk into a Walking Desk.

Simple and Functional Console

The console includes buttons to control the speed, start and stop the belt and sync with Bluetooth-enabled Windows and Mac computers. The digital LED display shows steps taken, walking time, calories burned, distance traveled and walking belt speed.

The integrated Bluetooth communications works with our free app to wirelessly sync your data with your online LifeSpan Fitness Club account to retain your walking history.

Deck Suspension

LifeSpan treadmills use 6 independent shocks to hold the walking deck above the frame and absorb impact when your foot strikes the belt. If you plan on walking 10,000 or more steps a day, which we recommend, a good deck suspension will allow you to walk longer with less fatigue and without causing joint pain or injury.

A side benefit to isolating the deck with this type of suspension is a much quieter walking experience because the impact of your foot hitting the deck doesn't resonate to the rest of the treadmill.

Bluetooth

The TR1200-DT3 is Bluetooth-enabled to wirelessly sync your data to your computer and share with a specially designed app that sits on your computer desktop. Track your steps taken, walking time, calories burned distance traveled all on your computer screen as you walk. Once complete, sync your data with your online LifeSpan Fitness Club account to retain your walking history.

USB Charging Port

The TR1200-DT3 comes with one rear USB port for charging portable devices. Charge your iPod, cell phone or other USB device right on your desktop.

Intelli-Guard and Intelli-Step

The TR1200-DT3 comes standard with two of LifeSpan trademarked technologies: The built-in Intelli-Guard™ automatically stops the belt if you step off during your walk for added safety and is a major development in protecting treadmill users and those around them. With the Intelli-Guard™, you no longer have to worry about leaving your treadmill running if you have to step off to take a call. When your foot no longer continuously strikes the belt surface for 20 seconds, your treadmill will automatically pause.  Intelli-Step™ counts and records the number of steps you take and displays them on the console. More accurate than a pedometer, Intelli-Step automatically detects the impact of your foot striking the treadmill belt.

FAQ's

What type of work can be done on the Treadmill Desk?

Most of your daily tasks that you would normally do at a conventional desk can be done while using the treadmill desk. Talking on the phone is also an easy task and with a bit of practice, hand-writing feels quite natural as well. You can also touch the Pause button on the treadmill desk at any time to write notes or other tasks requiring less movement and your treadmill desk becomes a stand-up desk. When you are ready to continue walking, touch the Start button again and your treadmill desk picks up right where you left off without losing any of your data.

Is the treadmill desk quiet?

Yes. We designed the treadmill desk to be used in an office with co-workers nearby. It only makes sense that you could carry on a conversation with the sound of a machine getting in the way. The decibel level depends on the speed: 1 mph is 47 dB, 2 mph is 50.1 dB, 3 mph is 54.2 dB and 4 mph is 59.8 dB. To give an example, at 2 mph the treadmill desk makes less noise than a refrigerator and at 4 mph it is still quieter than an air conditioner.

Does the treadmill desk have an incline feature?

The treadmill desk does not have an incline feature. If it did, then the correct height of the desk would be altered during incline and would affect the user's ability to productively work. Remember, the treadmill desk is not a substitute for daily exercise. It is designed specifically to combat the hours we spend sitting. Sitting, or being sedentary, for extended hours has been linked to numerous health risks. Our bodies were made for movement and our goal in designing this was focused on just that.
